Challenges of Recruitment Panel Discussion  

In this interactive and engaging discussion we plan to discuss the opportunities and pitfalls of recruiting and retaining high impact individual contributors and sales leaders; attributes vs achievements, cultural fit, assessment and attraction, understanding the need and measuring success.

Callum Wallace is a Consultant in the Technology Practice at Berwick Partners, part of Odgers Berndtson. Based in London Callum specialises in recruiting commercial leadership positions for blue-chip & SME IT service providers and technology vendors. Operating as a Technology sector specialist, Callum has an extensive knowledge and familiarity with the entire IT stack and has completed assignments in infrastructure services through to the application and delivery layer. Prior to joining Berwick Partners, Callum worked for a boutique IT recruitment firm focused on the placement of Director/VP level positions across Sales, Marketing and Product. Callum has worked and lived in the UK, Singapore & the Middle East with a successful track record operating across EMEA and APAC.

In this session, we will present targeted research and innovative best practices to accurately identify and successfully develop your high-potentials to create a pipeline of future leaders for the broader enterprise. Mark Powell is a chartered Occupational Psychologist and HR Professional (MCIPD) who specialises in the areas of Talent Assessment, Talent Management, and Talent Development.  He began his career at CEB Talent Assessment (formerly SHL Group Ltd.) where he worked in the research and consulting functions and then spent 11 years working in house both in the Private and Public Sector. This included roles at UBS as the Global Head of Assessment, at the Cabinet Office as the Chief Psychologist and most recently at Nationwide Building Society as the Talent Assessment and Succession Manager.
